10 Most Sightly & Comely Flowers in the World...


The most beautiful flowers, in conjunction with their design and color schemes, create feelings that enhance our mood. They are a simple and sincere way to lift our spirits. The most beautiful flowers can bring a smile to someone faces who has been sick or having a rough day. The presence of flowers has a profound impact on ones state of mind and emotions.
Flowers trigger feelings of happiness and help us cope with anger and pain. They help us stay calm and relaxed. They can also help relieve stress.
Here I have compiled some of the most beautiful flowers in the world. It was a very tight list. I may have missed out a lot so please if you know other beautiful flower that I missed share with us in comment section. Thanks

1.Rose

Roses are the most celebrated flowers in the world. The big, colored roses have been since centuries preferred by all categories of people at any event what so ever. They have many symbols, depending on their colors. Roses may not be exotic or new to you, but they sure are  among the most beautiful flowers in the world and this is exactly why we all love them.


2.Bleeding Hearts
These whimsical, almost fairy-like blossoms are a traditional favorite in shady gardens. The flowers are either red, pink or white and appear in April-June.



3.The Bird of Paradise

Strelitzia is a genus of five species of perennial plants, native to South Africa. A common name of the genus is bird of paradise flower, because of a supposed resemblance of its flowers to the bird of paradise. In South Africa it is commonly known as a crane flower.



4.Blue Bells

In spring, many European woods are covered by dense carpets of this flower; these are commonly referred to as “bluebell woods”. It is thought that they were named by the romantic poets of the 19th century, who felt they symbolized solitude and regret.



5.Calla Lily

The calla lily is simple, as all elegant things. The splendor of it was acknowledged by Greeks as well: they named this plant “kallos”, which means “beauty”. Even though it makes a great houseplant, you should be careful for children and animals: callas are very toxic, if eaten!



6.Lily of the Valley

A delicate and fragrant sign of spring, the Lily of the Valley has inspired a number of legends. One such Christian legend explains that the tears that Mary shed at the cross turned to Lilies of the Valley, prompting the flower to sometimes be referred to as "Our Lady's Tears." Another legend tells of Lilies of the Valley springing from the blood of St. George during his battle with the dragon.



7.Pulmeria

Pulmeria is the flower of a small tropical tree. This 5 petal flower looks very, very beautiful, and it may be easily cultivated. All it needs is a lot of sun and very little water. It has a powerful perfume, especially at night and this is one of the reasons for which this little flower is so unique.


8. Cherry blossoms


The most treasured flowers in Japan, cherry blossoms are truly wonderful to look at. There is nothing more poetic than a flowering cherry tree . It is not a surprise that Japanese people, with their sensitive soul and their inclination for beauty and peaceful sights, prefer these flowers above all others.


9.Tulip


The is one of the world's most easily recognized and loved flowers. The tulip is a perennialbulbous plant with showy flowers in the genus Tulipa, which comprises 109 species and belongs to the family Liliaceae. The genus's native range extends from as far west as Southern EuropeNorth AfricaAnatolia, and Iran to the Northwest of China. The tulip's centre of diversity is in the PamirHindu Kush, and Tien Shan mountains. A number of species and many hybrid cultivars are grown in gardens, as potted plants, or to display as fresh-cut flowers.



10.Canna

Cannas not only feature pretty blossoms, but also beautiful leaves (often likened to that of the banana plant) that come in a variety of stunning colors. Popularized in Victorian times, Cannas are popular garden plants.
